

The game even explicitly tells us blue team’s efforts served no purpose beyond wasting time, lol. Then we had them running around genesis aimlessly until the end credits. We had one level where they prevent secrets from an clandestine UNSC research facility from falling into enemy hands- an interesting setup that went absolutely nowhere.

You may have enjoyed the pace of blue teams levels, but that doesn’t change the fact that they were devoid of any sort of character development. Sure they touched on some interesting corners of the universe, but none of them contributed to actual character development - they only only existed to extend the runtime of a single act play. The subplots are wholly irrelevant to the central plot.
